Toronto FC head to Santa Clara University and the Buck Shaw Stadium to take on the San Jose Earthquakes on Saturday.
"He's definitely changed things here, and for the better,"
Nana Attakora on Aron Winter's Influence so far as TFC Manager
San Jose are 1-1-1 so far this season after drawing their last game against the Seattle Sounders. Simon Dawkins and Khari Stephenson could be set to start up front for Frank Yallop's men after they both scored last week against Seattle. Ike Opara could be given his first start of the season. Steven Lenhart who missed the first three games of the season could be set for a role on Saturday.
The ever dangerous Wondolowski has scored over 20 goals for the Earthquakes since joining the club in 2009 from the Houston Dynamo.
After a shaky start to the season, TFC's defence seems to have become a bit stronger since their opener at Empire Field against the Vancouver Whitecaps. Julian De Guzman could be set for his first start of the season after being named on the bench against Chivas USA. Tony Tchani will likely start alongside Gianluca Zavarise or Jacob Peterson if De Guzman is fit. Dicoy Williams is set to get the nod to start over Adrian Cann and Nana Attakora.
Santos will be looking to fill the huge goal scoring shoes left by Dwayne De Rosario, especially after having a 7 foot effort deflected wide last week.
Last season the series was split one win each, Toronto FC won the last game at Buck Shaw Stadium 3-1, whilst San Jose won the return game last season at BMO Field 3-2.
The San Jose Earthquakes clearly have a stronger strikeforce and being at home, we can't see TFC leaving with 3 points. SAN JOSE EARTHQUAKES 3 - TORONTO FC 1
