In news away from Dwayne De Rosario, Toronto FC have been linked with ancient defender Marco Materazzi.
Materazzi is currently at Inter in Serie A however the 37 year old is considering a move to MLS with TFC, Los Angeles and New York all interested in securing the aggressive defenders signature.
Materazzi has been at Inter since 2001 and also played for the Italian national team until 2008.
With Inter he has won a number of major honours including five Serie A titles, one Champions League, three Coppa Italia, and the Supercoppa Italiana three times.
Marco is probably most famous for his altercation with Zinedine Zidane in the 2006 World Cup, where he was head butted in the chest before collapsing to the ground. The game was Zidane`s last of a storied career.
The spat apparently happened after Materazzi made remarks about Zidane`s sister.
